Every autumn dozens of industry reps from resorts, properties and more descend on Ski.com headquarters in Aspen, Colo. to update us on what’s new for the coming season. We sat down to chat with Jamie from Winter Park Resort, and here’s what she had to share:
Q&A with Jamie from Winter Park Resort
Q: What’s new at Winter Park Resort for 2015-16?
A: RFID for hands-free passes and lift tickets! For rental gear, you only pay for the number or days for which you have lift tickets. For example, if you have a three out of five-day lift ticket, you keep your rental gear for five days, but only pay for three.
Q: What makes Winter Park Resort unique or different from other resorts?
A: Ease of access, size and value.
Q: In your opinion, what are the top three reasons skiers and snowboarders return year after year to Winter Park Resort?
A: 1. Terrain (3,000 acres and seven territories means there is plenty for everyone), value and easy to get to.
Q: What’s the No. 1 reason Winter Park Resort partners with Ski.com year in and year out?
A: We love Ski.com and its people!
