It’s September 10th and yesterday, people went skiing in Colorado. Yes, you read that correctly, turns were made in Silverton by ski patrol and in the Aspen backcountry by local pro, Colter Hinchliffe. We’re also assuming some hard cores got some powder near Telluride, seeing as the snow has been dumping there for what seems like the last 48 hours now. All in all, the lionshare of snowfall fell on the Eastern San Juans, Elk Mountains, and portions of the Front Range including Cameron Pass and Rocky Mountain National Park.

No doubt, the week in weather has been a wild one for the interior Rockies and more snow is on the way today before the system moves out of the mountains later this evening. But before that happens, we’ve got some photos and video we’d like to share with you to get you stoked for ski season.
