Over the weekend, three of our favorite ski resorts cranked up their chairlifts and opened their runs for skiers and snowboarders! Keystone opened for the season on Nov. 6 with an 18-inch base at mid-mountain. Two out of three Banff and Lake Louise ski resorts opened with Mt. Norquay dropping the rope on Nov. 5 and Lake Louise following on Nov. 6.
After receiving 30 inches of snow last week, Big Sky couldn’t resist powering up the chairlifts for a mid-November powder day. On Nov. 7, skiers and snowboarders enjoyed nearly three feet of snow, but they’ll have to wait for another run until the resort’s official opening day on Nov. 26.
