5 days in Whistler - Epic Pass Itinerary
Day 1
Land in Vancouver and meet your transfer to Whistler. Do all of your sleeping on the plane because the Sea to Sky highway is part of the adventure. Your route will start at sea level along the Howe Sound before meandering through old-growth forests and climbing into the mountains of Whistler sitting at 670 meters (2,200 feet) above sea level.
Check in to your accommodation and pick up your rentals before wandering into Whistler Village for dinner. Our Mountain Travel Experts recommend Sushi Village.
Ski.com Expert Tip: Arrange for rental delivery to get fitted for your skis/boards/boots in the comfort of your accommodation.
Day 2
Get a lay of the slopes with your choice of a ski/snowboard lesson or for the more advanced skiers and riders, all-mountain guiding and coaching from Extremely Canadian. Your knowledgeable guides will lead you to Whistler Blackcomb's secret stashes and prime powder, tailored to your skill level, and with lift line priority.
For the non-skiers, embark on a snowshoeing adventure through Whistler's breathtaking landscapes, perfect for wildlife spotting and soaking in the stunning views. Later, meet up for après at Dusty's in Whistler Creekside – a local favorite serving up mouthwatering food, legendary après and live music.
As night falls, stroll the Vallea Lumina, a multimedia night walk through an enchanted forest where stories come to life through images, light and sound. Cap off the evening with a fine-dining experience at The Rimrock Cafe.
Day 3
Everyone needs a non-ski day to rest the legs and check out all that Whistler has to offer off the hill. Peel off into small groups to zip line, snowshoe, bobsled, dog sled, or visit the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Center.
Rest the bones after a day of action at the Scandinave Spa, a thermal adventure in itself. Soak under the forest canopy while reaping the benefits of sauna, hot tub, cold plunge, and quiet meditation.
Return refreshed and ready for a mountain top dining experience. Make your way to Crystal Hut by snowmobile or snow cat and cozy into a rustic and charming alpine refuge. Fondue, artesian charcuterie, and hot beverages will warm the core for the trip back home after dinner.
Day 4
Wake up to mountain views and start your day with a brunch spread at The Wildflower in the Fairmont Chateau. After a delectable brunch, step outside, and you're just steps away from the ski lifts that will whisk you to the slopes of Whistler Blackcomb. Don't miss the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, a breathtaking journey for both skiers and non-skiers that connects the Whistler and Blackcomb ski areas.
Celebrate another fantastic day on the slopes with dinner at the Bearfoot Bistro. With its seasonal menu, extensive underground wine cellar and the excitement of champagne sabering, it's more than just a meal – it's a culinary journey. Close the evening in the world's coldest ice room, where you can sample premium sub-zero vodka from around the world.
Day 5
On your final day in Whistler, it's time to check off a bucket list experience – heli-skiing. Get ready to soar over endless backcountry terrain with seasoned guides, where there are zero lift lines, just you and your crew carving down wide-open slopes blanketed in untouched powder.
Meanwhile, those opting out of heli-skiing will love exploring the shops and galleries in the Village, before taking a scenic gondola ride to Christine's on Blackcomb for a fine-dining experience with panoramic views.
After your legendary day, unwind in your accommodation's hot tub before taking one last stroll into the Village to toast to your unforgettable Whistler wonderland getaway.
