Aspen Snowmass Opens 1k Acres Of Terrain For Thanksgiving!

Notable chairlift openings include the Big Burn and Elk Camp Chair at Snowmass | Gent's Ridge at Aspen Mountain.

After over 2 feet of snowfall in the past week, Aspen Snowmass announced today that it will host skiing on nearly 1,000 acres of skiable terrain this Thanksgiving Holiday.

Both Aspen Mountain and Snowmass will expand their terrain offerings over the course of today and tomorrow to include approximately 500 acres at each ski area. You can find up-to-date terrain openings via their mountain announcements page. In addition to the remarkable amount of terrain, Snowmass will also spin the world-renowned Big Burn chair, which normally opens sometime mid-December.
