Dream Job 2.0 Is Everything You've Come To Expect And WAY MORE

Dream Job 2.0 Is Everything You've Come To Expect And WAY MORE

Last season, Ski.com opened up its very first Dream Job search to the world. The reaction was wild.

Everyone from the CBS News to the Aspen Times covered the contest and after narrowing down some 1,200+ entries, the #ToTheMountains team selected blossoming videographer, Jackson Lebsack as its first hire. Over the course of two months last winter, Jackson traveled to some of the world’s most iconic ski destinations, all the while leaving a collection of drool-worthy social media posts in his wake.

This year, the process is about to become a whole lot more democratic.

Instead of just one hire, this year Ski.com is choosing 12 LUCKY INDIVIDUALS to explore 6 INCREDIBLE SKI RESORTS.

Dream Job Destinations: Aspen Snowmass, Jackson Hole, Banff's SkiBig3, Big Sky, Niseko, and Chamonix

Why the format change you ask?

12 hires vs. 1

For one, we want more applicants to realize their dream of getting to ski one of the resorts in question. Last year the quality and quality of application videos (1,200+) made one thing clear: we needed to hire way more people. Secondly, we want to appeal to the community as a whole and realize that not everyone can quit their day job and go skiing for a month. So here we are: one week, one destination, and either an individual or team can apply.

Ever dream of riding the world-famous Aiguille du Midi cable-car in Chamonix France? Or what about skiing Japanese powder so deep it’s almost impossible to catch your breath between turns? And those are just the international options. Unlike last time, YOU CHOOSE THE ADVENTURE!

In addition to paid travel courtesy of United Airlines, individual hires will be compensated with a $2,000 salary as well as cutting edge gear from the likes of Black Crows Skis, Stio Outdoor Apparel, Giro, and GoPro.

So what are you waiting for? Your dream job awaits...

RULES: Select one of the six world-class and submit a video explaining in 90 seconds or less why you (or your team) should be chosen to travel to and document what it’s like to experience it all. Please also describe why you chose that particular resort. You can apply to multiple destinations.
