How to get to Flims-Laax-Falera

Laax is easily accessible from several international airports, with Zurich Airport (ZRH) being the most convenient option. Located just 89 miles away, it’s a smooth journey of 1 hour 40 minutes by car or about 2.5 hours via public transport.  Switzerland’s public transport system is highly efficient, with frequent bus services running from Chur to Laax. For the fastest and smoothest journey, Zurich Airport is your best bet. Simply hop on the train and bus to Laax, and you’ll be ready to hit the slopes in no time!

Navigating the Laax ski area is a breeze, thanks to its seamless and efficient free shuttle bus system. This network connects the three villages—Flims, Laax and Falera—with ski lifts, accommodations, and key attractions. The Laax Shuttle operates frequently from early morning until late at night, ensuring effortless transportation for both daytime skiing and après-ski activities. There is also the option for an electric taxi. 

For those staying within the resort, many hotels and lodgings provide ski-in ski-out access or are just a short walk from the lifts and restaurants. Prefer driving? Major lift stations like Laax Murschetg, Flims Bergbahnen and Falera offer convenient parking options, including covered spaces in select locations.

Skiing in Flims

However, as there are no green runs leading back to Laax, beginners will need to download via gondola. For a more serene experience, we recommend the quieter blue slopes above Sogn Martin, which are less crowded compared to busier areas like Alp Dado.
