Skiing in Kiroro Ski Resort
Kiroro is the perfect spot for both skiers and snowboarders, offering a balanced mix of terrain across two scenic mountain peaks. While a third of the slopes are rated black, most of the on-piste terrain is mellow, making it accessible for those still building confidence. There are 23 runs spread evenly between green, blue, and black slopes, making it an ideal playground for beginners and intermediates. For those seeking a bit more challenge, the mogul courses will test your skills—and you might catch locals showing off their technique!
The real thrill-seekers will find the best powder hidden in Kiroro's trees, offering a more off-piste experience, while cruisers will love the smooth, flowing Grand Line. Beginners dipping their toes into powder will appreciate the ungroomed runs scattered around the resort. Or, are you planning to venture into the sidecountry? Make sure to submit a backcountry plan for permission before heading out into the untouched snow.
Beginner Skiing in Kiroro, Japan
Beginners at Kiroro can kick off their ski journey on the two-person lift right at the base, where a gentle, beginner-friendly slope offers a mellow introduction.
